Meet Sarah Boltz,

The CrossFitting, surfing, sustainable nutrition coach with a passion for health, fitness, and breakfast food.

Hi! I’m Sarah, I help female surfers and athletes become fitter and more comfortable with food through a sustainable approach to nutrition. Sustainable nutrition is a way of thinking about food that allows flexibility with some structure. Through a macros-based approach to nutrition, I’ve coached several people to food freedom while achieving their goals of weight loss or body recomposition AKA, staying relatively the same weight but looking more jacked.

I started macro counting in 2017 when I first started working with a coach but became more serious in 2018 after going to outpatient rehab for an eating disorder. I quickly learned that the foods I feared were just carbs, fats, and proteins. That’s it. My body won’t treat them differently because the foods were deemed “bad” by society. This new way of thinking allowed me to relax on date nights, and enjoy a crisp sauvignon blanc on a hot summer’s day, all while achieving my goals in the gym.

I like to say that you can build your best life by improving your nutrition. When you’re focused on nourishing your body with vegetables, fruits, whole grains, healthy fats, and lean protein, you have the energy to achieve your goals. You’re a better person for the people around you and there’s no ceiling to what you can accomplish. It all starts with what’s on your plate.
