Chocolate Cherry Acai Bowl

I love me an acai bowl any day of the week but especially after a good workout or surf session! This bowl is packed with body-loving goodness! Cherries can be beneficial in reducing inflammation which aids in recovery from a tough workout. They also contain melatonin which can help you sleep. A couple handfuls before bed or a bit of tart cherry juice can help you fall asleep.

Chocolate Cherry Athlete Bowl:

4oz unsweetened oat milk

1 scoop of chocolate protein powder (this is the one I use and I do get a small commission from sales)

1/2 tbs of cacao powder

4oz frozen banana

5oz frozen cherries

1 packet unsweetened Acai packet

85g frozen riced cauliflower

Directions: Blend until smooth and top with some granola, 1 tsp cacao nibs, and a few cherries for extra fun!
