Built By Boltz X 800 Gram Challenge

Summer is coming and y’all know I believe that sustainable nutrition is the best way to lose weight and improve body recomposition. So we’re going to be taking on the 800-gram challenge starting May 1!! The idea is that we’re prioritizing fruits and vegetables by aiming to get 800g total daily!

Hit your 800g with your favorite, in-season fruits and vegetables, and then enjoy whatever proteins and healthy fats you like. You can weigh it on a scale or use hand portions, aiming for 6-8 total servings of fruits and veggies.

I’ve done this challenge and I’ll be doing it with you this time. I’ll be sharing tips and tricks as we go along the way.

First things first, get to the grocery store! Here’s a free guide if you need help getting started in the store.

Second, start at breakfast. Add spinach, asparagus, peppers, and broccoli to an omelet with a side of berries and avocado toast for a complete meal.

Third, add them to your smoothies. A handful of spinach has no impact on flavor and subbing in frozen riced cauliflower for ice will add even more veggies with no taste.

Fourth, get creative! Incorporate zucchini noodles into your pasta, add some mini bell peppers to your afternoon snack of chips and guac, or use a layer of leafy greens as a base for your meals to create more volume, which will help you stay full. This challenge is for you to figure out how to incorporate more nutritious foods into your daily diet.
