How Much Protein Do I Need?

The answer is, it depends on your goals! I typically recommend 0.8-1g of protein per pound of body weight. That means a 150 lb human would need 121-150g of protein daily. If your goal is to put on more muscle mass, that can be anywhere from 1.5-2g per pound of body mass. I like to spread my protein out, so I’m getting about 25-50g per meal or snack.
